Human-centered AI for healthcare businesses
We design and implement practical AI systems for B2B healthcare, with people in charge of every judgment call and every system tied to growth.
We design and implement practical AI systems for healthcare businesses, and we keep people in charge of every decision that needs judgment. The work covers operations, team support, patient and customer relationships, and the consistency of your revenue.
What we do, and what we do not sell
We are not here to sell AI tools, chatbots or automation for their own sake. We start with a commercial question: where does your business lose inquiries, referrals, staff hours or goodwill, and what is the smallest reliable change that stops it?
Sometimes the answer is an AI system. Sometimes it is a clearer follow-up process, a better handoff between the front desk and billing, or sharper positioning. Because our work is tied to go-to-market strategy, we look at lead handling, conversion, retention and customer experience alongside efficiency.
Human intelligence working alongside AI
AI is good at drafting, sorting, extracting, summarizing and watching a queue at three in the morning. People are better at judgment, context, empathy and accountability. We design each workflow so both do the part they suit, and everyone can see where one stops and the other starts. For example:
- A tool extracts the fields from a faxed referral letter, and a referral coordinator confirms anything it could not read.
- An assistant drafts a reply to a new-patient inquiry, and the front desk lead owns the template and the exceptions.
- A model proposes variants of a LinkedIn post for a health-tech vendor, and a compliance owner approves every claim before it is published.
Chat and voice AI agents can handle bounded tasks such as scheduling and common questions, and they hand over to a person whenever a conversation moves toward clinical advice. In our designs AI never replaces qualified professionals. Where a system touches anything clinical, the medical director or clinical lead sets the boundary and signs it off.
How we think about the work
Systems built around real behavior
The workflow on paper and the workflow your team follows are rarely the same. We watch and ask before we design, because a system that fights how people really work gets quietly worked around.
Growth and efficiency together
Efficiency that never reaches revenue is a cost saving at best. We tie each system to a commercial measure such as lead response time, referral conversion, no-show rate, days in accounts receivable or first-pass claim acceptance, and we record your baseline first.
Responsible adoption
Trust is the asset in healthcare, so human oversight, professional judgment and sensible privacy safeguards are part of the design. We help you build the inventory, review steps and records that support AI governance, alongside your compliance officer and counsel. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice.
Who we work with
Healthcare is our primary specialization, and we mean the whole B2B ecosystem around care, not only clinics and patients. That includes care providers such as medical clinics, dental groups, hospitals and mental health organizations. It includes payers and revenue cycle companies, among them medical billing and revenue cycle management firms and insurers. It includes life sciences, MedTech and digital health companies. And it covers the businesses that support them: staffing firms, suppliers, consultants, marketing agencies and outsourcing providers.
The USA and the UK
We work with organizations in the USA and the UK, and only those two markets. Each has its own rules. In the USA that means HIPAA, state privacy and AI laws, and advertising and telemarketing rules. In the UK it means UK GDPR, ICO guidance, PECR on electronic marketing and NHS assurance standards where they apply. We tell you whether an item is in force, proposed or only guidance, because the status changes what you need to do.
How an engagement runs
- Discovery call. We listen to how your business earns revenue and where work stalls, and ask about the workflow before we ask about tools.
- Diagnose. We map the workflow with the people who do it, record baseline measures, and decide what to leave alone.
- Design. We name an owner for every system, set review points and escalation paths, and agree privacy safeguards and success measures before anything is built.
- Build and connect. We configure or build the automation, agents and integrations, and test them against real scenarios before they touch a patient or customer.
- Train, hand over and measure. Each role is trained for its own part through AI training. We review results against the baseline, then adjust or retire whatever is not working.
Why a human-centered partner
Disconnected AI tools create new admin work, new risks and no owner. A scheduling bot nobody reviews can do exactly what it was built to do and still hurt the business.
We connect tools to workflows, people, data and commercial goals, and we stay accountable for adoption. In a McKinsey survey of US healthcare leaders published in April 2026, integration was the barrier cited most often to scaling AI, so connecting systems is part of our work, not a later phase.
What we will not do
- We will not put unreviewed AI into clinical decisions. Diagnosis, treatment and clinical judgment stay with qualified professionals.
- We will not invent results. We do not publish made-up case studies, testimonials or numbers, and we do not promise clinical, financial or regulatory outcomes.
- We will not describe an emerging technology as mature. We say whether a capability is established, emerging or still speculative, and when it does not suit your business.
- We will not design an agent that hides the fact that it is AI, or one that cannot pass a conversation to a person.
- We will not ask your team to paste patient information into tools that have not been approved for it.
Start with one workflow
Book a discovery call and bring one workflow that is costing you time, inquiries or revenue. We will tell you honestly whether AI belongs in it.
Tell us where the work piles up.
A first call is a working conversation about your workflows, your numbers and what should be fixed first.
